The Domaine of Miraval is a Domaine winery located in the Provence region of France. It is particularly well known for its high quality Rosés wines. The Domaine covers more than 500 hectares and boasts vineyards, olive groves and forests.
Miraval became famous due to its connection with celebrity couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who bought the property in 2008. They invested in Domaine and are committed to producing high-quality wines in collaboration with the Perrin family, a renowned family of Rhône Valley winemakers.
Miraval wines are produced from traditional grape varieties of the region, such as Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah and Rolle (also known as Vermentino). The viticultural methods used on Domaine are environmentally friendly, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and the preservation of biodiversity.
Available exclusively in magnum format and made entirely by hand, Grenache and Rolle are the 2 majority grape varieties that make up this cuvée.
This Rosé Rare and exceptional was named "World's Best Rosé" in 2013 by Wine Spectator.
Only 2,000 produced, Miraval's Cuvée Muse was vinified in tulip-shaped concrete vats and for a small part matured in demi muids, giving it complex, highly aromatic flavors with ageing potential of up to 5 years.
Serving at around 10°, this cuvée, made from a rigorous selection of the oldest and best parcels of Château, can be enjoyed both as an aperitif and with lobster or langoustes.
