This seasonal edition is the result of a collaboration with renowned French-Japanese illustrator Erica Dorn, whose work has featured in films by director Wes Anderson.
The single malt is presented in unique packaging to offer a special unboxing experience, and Dorn's playful, abstract illustrations are inspired by the historic fire rituals that dominate New Year's celebrations around the world.
The nose is rich, with notes of butter, baked apple, cookie, plum or almond complemented by vanilla.
The palate is very sweet, reminiscent of the little shortbreads of his childhood, a taste of lightly toasted marshmallow. Aromas of dried oranges, figs and cinnamon complete this pretty taste experience.
The finish is medium, reminiscent of caramel and freshly baked cookies.
