Prunier

House Prunier is located in Cognac with 250 years of history spanning more than two centuries. Since 1769, House Prunier has been making its mark alongside the great names of Cognac.

The first traces of the Prunier family date back to 1701, but it wasn't until 1769 that bottling and export activities really got underway at Cognac, as the old labels on Prunier bottles testify.

Across the ages, the 1850 building has seen each generation grow up. The walls, like photographs, carry the family memory. Even today, this building is the soul of Maison Prunier.

Description Prunier 1981.

It is a Cognac exclusively from Grande Champagne classified as Premier Cru in the Cognac region and more particularly from the small village called Saint Preuil, nestled between the limestone hillsides of this cru, a key quality element of its soil.

It is a Cognac exclusively from the year 1981 left to age since that date in cask. It is a brut de fût with 42,1 % alcohol.

The color is pale gold

On the nose as well as on the palate: on stewed fruits such as grape, tangerine followed by a palette of acacia flowers and currant harmoniously mixed with musk and nutmeg. In the mouth, stewed fruits with touches of candied mirabelle plum, musk, Virginia blond tobacco with a splendid finale on Cordovan leather and mocha.
