It all began in 1771, when François Gaborit donated his Domaine and his vineyards in Mérignac to his son-in-law, Pierre Nalbert.
Over the generations, Domaine has undergone continuous growth and evolution.
As early as 1833, Denis Nalbert recounted challenges such as April frosts, periods of drought and hailstorms that impacted harvests.
In the 20th century, Denis and Pierre Mousset significantly expanded the current vineyard and introduced the first 25 hl stills. The Second still was added by Bernard Vaudon, who later married Anne-Marie Mousset. As both families come from long lines of winegrowers, this contributed to the continuous expansion of the Domaine.
Today, Anne-Marie Vaudon and Pierre Vaudon pRéserve dedicately continue this rich history and precious know-how.
