The House Bache-Gabrielsen was founded in 1905 at Cognac by Thomas Bache-Gabrielsen of Norwegian origin. The company is now run by Hervé Bache-Babrielsen, the fourth generation. Annual production: more than one million bottles.
Premiers Grands Crus has retained and chosen the Cognacs Grande Champagne Premier Cru for their very high qualities.
It is a blended cognac made exclusively from Grande Champagne cognacs, classified as Premier Cru from the Cognac region.
Grape varieties: 85% Uniblanc: 15
Aged from 20 to 60 years in French oak barrels
To the eye : deep amber
In the nose: white flowers of acacia, hawthorn, lime, ending on a perfume of cinnamon and nutmeg.
In the mouth: candied fruits such as Corsican clementine, Agen prune, Turkish fig.
To be enjoyed on cakes or dark chocolate ice cream, Basque or frangipane cakes, or on tarte tatin.
