Wines from the Ugni Blanc variety are harvested, distilled and the spirits are aged exclusively in the estate’s wineries.
The spirits are stored and aged in old Limousin oak barrels with large or medium grain size.
The colour is a very strong amber.
To the palate, the Charentais rancio becomes even more intense and the wooden traits melt with spicy notes.

Daniel Bouju Cognacs, an artisan and family-owned production since 1805 in the heart of Grande Champagne region, classified Premier Cru of the Cognac Region.
The proposed Cognacs come exclusively from Daniel Bouju’s property, whose total surface area is around 15 hectares.
Premiers Grands Crus, truthful to its Charter, selected those Cognacs because they are all certified Premier Cru from the Cognac region, that is to say right at the top of Cognac quality rankings.
