Park

Family-run business founded in 1880 by Gaston Tessendier, the distillery today boasts a Domaine of over 25 hectares in the heart of the most exclusive of the Cognac region's crus: les Borderies.

4th generation of Maitres de Chain, Lilian & Jérôme Tessendier compose, blend the eaux-de-vie which, thanks to the particular and rigorous attention paid daily by the entire team, will become Cognacs Park with a pure, delicate and complex style.

Description Park Extra.

Having inherited expertise dating back to 1880, the House's fourth generation of Maîtres de Chai are constantly perfecting their skills to create works of art like Park Extra, the quintessential Cognacs Park. It is the fruit of a blend of the finest Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie, patiently matured for several decades in oak casks in the soft, damp, cool atmosphere of the family's Domaine cellars on the banks of the Charente river.

Wearing a beautiful mahogany amber color, Park Extra reveals an Extraordinary bouquet. The first nose is delightful, if discreet at first, but within a few Sec rounds a marvelous eXOtic complexity emerges: aromas of coconut, passion fruit and nutmeg. These tropical aromas are joined by notes of candied orange and prune, subtle floral scents of lilac, and a hint of chocolate and almond nougat. The intensity of the nose gradually builds to a deep, irresistible exuberance.

On the palate, it is extremely unctuous, then reveals all its aromatic richness. Its seductive complexity lies in a masterful balance between power and finesse. The entry is powerful, a warm fire that brings out spices and candied fruit, dried fig and quince. Notes of leather mingle with those of oak, vanilla, dates and cigar box that emerge throughout a long, delicious finish that seems to have different aromatic underlayers...

A Cognac to be explored slowly, to allow its nuances time to unfold and the mind time to meditate.
