The vineyard Claude Thorin located Grande Champagne of Cognac, classified Premier Cru of the region was founded by André Thorin in 1950, today managed by his son Claude. 

This vineyard extends over a hundred hectares and the cellars that house its Cognacs are more than a hundred years old.

Description Claude Thorin Folle Blanche 2004.

The Folle Blanche is the old variety from the Cognac vineyard, used until the phylloxera crisis in the years 1880 and replaced mainly by the white Ugni variety.

A few winegrowers still kept the Folle Blanche, among which the Thorin family who let this Cognac age during 19 years in red barrels from the 2004 harvest.

Copper colour with fragrances of violet, honeysuckle, and vanilla. A lingering finish characterized by notes of white-fleshed fruits and spices.
