It is a Grande Champagne Cognac, classified as Premier Cru in the Cognac region, harvested in the vineyards of Segonzac, a village nestled between the white chalky hillsides of this prestigious cru.
The youngest of the cognacs in this blend has been aged in French oak barrels for over 60 years.
Grape variety : uni blanc. Distillation on lees and aging in barrels stored in small cellars at an optimal hygrometric degree. The color is mahogany of clear Cuba.
In the nose as in the mouth: beautiful attack on white flowers perfumes with a small point of violet, followed by very assertive touches of nutmeg, cinnamon, leather, harmoniously mixed with the perfume of liquorice, and candied fruits flavors such as the candied mirabelle plum from Alsace. Very long final and very round on chocolates and mochas.
To be enjoyed neat or on a dark chocolate cake or meringue ice cream.
