The story begins in 1685, during the reign of King Louis XIV, when Louis Deau, settled as a winemaker in Charente and discovered the mythical alchemy of stills.
For several generations the Bru Legaret family has owned and operated a Domaine winery in the heart of the Cognac region.
Today, Véronique Bru Legaret and her son Roland Legaret take over the destiny of the Deau Cognac brand, and are proud to introduce you to a universe where the beautiful, the exceptional and the unique meet and can create an absolute emotion, a revelation, a discovery.
This is a Cognac blend of Cognacs Grande Champagne, classified Premier Cru, preserved for many, many years in an underground cellar buried in limestone.
Color : light amber
On the nose : magnificent bouquet of perfumes.
Mouth : ripe fruit compote of pears, vine peaches, fruit and bitter almonds.
Perfect on an apricot tart or tarte tatin of Belchard apples, Canada reinettes or Williams pears.
