A blend of 160 bottles only, with eaux-de-vie from 1948, 1958, 1960, 1965
It is a Cognac made from very old Grande Champagne Cognacs classified Premier Cru and some of which are over 50 years old, all harvested and distilled several decades ago.
The vineyard extends over the chalky slopes of Grande Champagne, an essential characteristic to achieve this level of quality.
eye: dark amber
on the Nose: white spring flowers with a hint of vanilla violet, followed by aromas of linden, cedar from Lebanon, blond tobacco from Virginia. A very long finish with flavors of Brazilian coffee.
The palate reveals nuances of nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, liquorice to finish on coffees.
To taste with dark chocolate cakes.
