The François Voyer House is located in Verrières in one of the most typical villages with its valleys and limestone hills of the Grande Champagne of Cognac, classified Premier Cru of the Region of Cognac, right at the top of the qualitative hierarchy of Cognacs.
The Chauchet Voyer family has been distilling the wine from the harvest and aging its brandies in oak barrels since the 1870s, more than 5 generations.
This House produces a wide range of Cognacs all from the best Cru: the Grande Champagne from Cognac.
It is a Grande Champagne Premier Cru Cognac exclusively.
This Cognac is a blend of 40 to 60 year old eaux-de-vie aged first in new Limousin oak barrels for 3 years and then in older barrels.
The dress is dark mahogany of Cuba.
On the nose, the range of fragrances is exceptional: cinnamon, clove, vanilla, spices, dried fruits (walnuts and hazelnuts), musk and cedar of Lebanon (like in a cigar box).
In the mouth: incessantly long and very complex with the perfumes of the nose mixed with additional touches of undergrowth, truffle and violet so characteristic and unique of the Grande Champagne classified Premier Cru.
Would be perfect as a digestif with a cigar of your choice and a gourmet coffee.
