The Trijol House is located in the heart of the Cognac Region a few kilometers from Cognac. Part of the vineyard extends over Grande Champagne, Premier Cru and is planted mainly with Ugni-Blanc.
Their first still for distilling was set up in 1859 and the House is to this day run by a fifth generation, Jean-Jacques Trijol.
True to its Charter, Premiers Grands Crus has retained only the Cognacs Trijol Grande Champagne, a cru among the 6 crus of the Cognac region but ranked Premier Cru right at the top in the hierarchy of crus of Cognac for its qualities.
Once again, Nature has spoiled the winemakers with this sunny end of summer. The grapes at harvest time are very powerful and the wine, after alcoholic fermentation, is very rich in perfumes. Once distilled, it is an explosion of happiness.
Time has done the rest since 1988 revealing a wide range of fragrances as the distiller could foresee during the distillation of this one and only year.
The mouth is well rounded and the oak is very present, finishing on a beautiful length;
