A blend of 7 different vintages 100% Pinot Noir.

- +

The Blanc de Noirs elaborated by Eric Rodez is a powerful and generous champagne, that expresses completely the Ambonnay terroir. This vintage is on fruity and intense notes.

This Champagne is elaborated from Pinot noir coming exclusively from the Ambonnay plot classified Grand Cru.

To elaborated this vintage, 7 different years : 2000, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 were blended, thus giving a rare complexity and depth to the wine.

75% of the wines went in small oak aberrels and 65% didn’t take part in the malolactic fermentation process, thus giving a great freshness and offering a potential of long ageing.

The colour : intense gold.

The nose is expressive, with notes of dried fruits and candied fruits.

To the palate is disclosed a powerful wine, well-built with great balance, in all its freshness and with a lingering finish.

To be served between 10 to 12°C with canapés of your choice.

It has been almost three centuries that the Rodez family are linked to the champagne land and most notably the Ambonnay terroir, with its small village and streets surrounded by the vineyards’ boundary walls.

Nowadays, it is Mickael, a ninth generation, who took over.

Just like before, this House continues to vinify the main part of its Champagnes in small oak barrels. The majority of the wines don’t go through a second malolactic fermentation, thus allowing the wine to age longer in cellar, while enhancing its qualities.
