A blend of 5 different vintages 100% Chardonnay.

- +

This Champagne is a blend of more than 15 wines from 5 to 6 different years, exclusively from the Chardonnay variety, thus bringing complexity.

The Grands Crus wines from Ambonnay were vinified in small oak barrels for 70% and 40% of the wines didn’t take part in the malolactic fermentation process, which allows for a good conservation in cellar for several years and away from light, noise, bottle laid flat.

The colour is a light gold.

The nose is rich from multiple expressions with fruity and brioche notes followed by peach and citruses.

The taste is wide, fresh, with a fine lingering finish.

To be served around 10 to 12°C.

Fits perfectly as an aperitif with salmon or caviar canapés, or even sushi.

It has been almost three centuries that the Rodez family are linked to the champagne land and most notably the Ambonnay terroir, with its small village and streets surrounded by the vineyards’ boundary walls.

Nowadays, it is Mickael, a ninth generation, who took over.

Just like before, this House continues to vinify the main part of its Champagnes in small oak barrels. The majority of the wines don’t go through a second malolactic fermentation, thus allowing the wine to age longer in cellar, while enhancing its qualities.
