Eric Rodez Rose Champagne Grand Cru

4/5   (2 Guides)

Availability: In stock

A Rosé coming exclusively from the Grand Cru Ambonnay terroir.

- +

Result of the blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay macerations, this Grand Cru champagne from Ambonnay village comes from approximately half of reserve wines and the other half from wines vinified in wood barrels.

The color is deep pink, the very expression of Pinot Noir maceration.

The nose is complex and reveals, after a few moments, the marked presence of small red fruits thanks to the Pinot Noir.

Delicate palate thanks to Chardonnay and round and creamy with notes of fine wood.

To be served around 12 ° C.

Perfect with Sabaillons or red fruit desserts. Also very good as an aperitif on sushi or canapes of smoked Auvergne trout.

Can be stored in the cellar away from light and noise, with the bottle lying down.

Size :Bottle 0,75L
Alcohol Degree :12°
Appellation :Champagne Grand Cru
Vintage :Non Vintage
Classification :Grand Cru
Dosage :Extra Brut (0 to 6 g/L)

It has been almost three centuries that the Rodez family are linked to the champagne land and most notably the Ambonnay terroir, with its small village and streets surrounded by the vineyards’ boundary walls.

Nowadays, it is Mickael, a ninth generation, who took over.

Just like before, this House continues to vinify the main part of its Champagnes in small oak barrels. The majority of the wines don’t go through a second malolactic fermentation, thus allowing the wine to age longer in cellar, while enhancing its qualities.
