Le Champagne Fleury is an artisanal Champagne house, a pioneer in the Domaine of biodynamic viticulture and the production of organic Champagnes. Founded in 1895 by Emile Fleury, this family-run business is located in the village of Courteron, in the heart of the Côte des Bar region of Champagne.
The Fleury family history goes back more than five generations, when Emile Fleury decided to start viticulture and the production of Champagnes. Over the years, the Fleury family has passed on its winemaking know-how and heritage from generation to generation, preserving an attachment to traditional values while adopting innovative practices.
The terroir of the Côte des Bar is an essential characteristic for the quality of Fleury Champagnes. The vineyards cover almost 15 hectares, mainly located in villages classified as Premier Cru appellation, such as Courteron and Riceys. The Côte des Bar terroir is distinguished by its clay-limestone soils, which give the grapes remarkable ripeness and characteristic freshness.
The Fleury family is particularly committed to biodynamic viticulture, an environmentally-friendly farming method that considers the vine as a living organism interacting with its environment. This approach aims to enhance the health of the soil and vines by promoting biodiversity and avoiding the use of synthetic chemicals. The vines are cultivated in harmony with nature, helping to produce grapes of the highest quality, authentic and expressive.
The grapes are harvested by hand, allowing careful selection of the ripest and healthiest bunches, guaranteeing the superior quality of the grapes used to make Champagnes Fleury.
The winemaking process is carried out with great care and deep respect for the natural fermentation process. The grapes are gently pressed, and the juices are vinified in stainless steel vats to pRéserver purity of aroma and freshness of fruit. The wines undergo malolactic fermentation, adding a creamy texture and extra complexity to the cuvées.
The Champagnes Fleury are aged in oak barrels, adding extra depth and aromatic richness. The Champagnes are aged on lees for an extended period, giving them great finesse and characteristic elegance.
The Champagnes stand out for their authenticity, freshness and expression of terroir. They offer a complex aromatic palette, ranging from fresh fruit to notes of brioche, spices and white flowers. On the palate, Champagnes are balanced, with delicate effervescence and a lingering finish, testifying to their high quality.
The house of Champagne Fleury offers a varied range of cuvées, from non Champagnes Millésimés to prestige cuvées, via Champagnes Rosés. Each cuvée expresses the unique character of its terroir of origin, reflecting the diversity of the Champagne terroir and the family's commitment to crafting exceptional Champagnes.

Explosion of aromas and flavors, almost honeyed acacia flowers, white-fleshed fruits such as peaches or vine nectarines or Williams pears. In the second attack: lime blossom and dried fruits, touch of red berries like wild strawberry or Summit cherry with a long woody vanilla finish.
Food/wine pairing: white meat flavored with ceps from Bordeaux or Quercy or white truffles from Alba, such as chicken, pheasant, partridge or first harvest thrushes. Could also be suitable, on a beef flank steak with Madeira sauce or Burgundy and shallot sauce. Would also go with grilled fish a la plancha.
To be served around 12 to 14° C but not colder so as not to dry up the wonderful explosions of aromas and flavors.
