Charles Heidsieck

It was Charles Heidsieck born in 1822 who founded in 1851 the House of Champagne which bore his name. Of Champagne stock by his mother and his great-uncle at the origin of the house Heidsieck founded in 1785, Charles grew up in the middle of the Champagne world that will give him at the time a formidable knowledge of the product "Champagne".
This priceless heritage has been passed down from generation to generation to reach us today for our greatest pleasure
The House currently owns 65 hectares spread over the entire vineyard of Champagne.
The house has been awarded many times since 1855 in Belgium until today, that is to say for 166 years with the prestigious SParkling Winemaker of the Year for many years.

Description Charles Heidsieck Blanc de Blancs.

Made exclusively from Chardonnay, Charles Heidsieck Blanc de Blancs is the fruit of a highly selective blend of grapes from several Champagne terroirs:

  • Côte des Blancs
  • Montagne de Reims
  • Côte de Sézanne
  • Mongueux

The wines used to make this cuvée were matured for 3 to 4 years in Crayères Millénaires, well beyond Appellation standards.

This generous, full-bodied Champagne develops the aromatic complexity for which Charles Heidsieck wines are renowned.

On the nose, ripe fruit aromas such as vine peach, candied citrus and delicate vegetal notes of lime blossom, honeysuckle and fresh hazelnuts emerge. After aeration, subtle tangerine and lemon aromas emerge.

Taut on the palate, this blanc de blancs surprises with its minerality and salinity.

It will be particularly appreciated with salmon tart or fresh goat's cheese.
