It is a parcel champagne from the "Meurtet" vineyard located in Aÿ classified Grand Cru exclusively, planted exclusively in Pinot Noir in the 2015 vintage.
The average age of the vines is 50 years. It benefits from a southern exposure, ideal, to bring an optimal maturation.
The wines have been vinified, aged and then taken to the cellar for more than 6 years.
The color is yellow gold with straw yellow reflections.
On the nose and on the palate: vast palettes of red fruits such as raspberry, strawberry or bigarreau cherry Napoleon or burlat with touches of yellow fruits such as vine peach, notes of apricots and red berries.
Food / wine pairing: as an aperitif served at 10-12 ° C accompanied by canapés of foie gras, either duck or Gers goose. Also suitable perfectly with scallops pan-fried with fleur de sel either from Guérande or Île de Ré or from a bed of leeks.
Bottles to be stored in the cellar away from light and noise with a humidity of 70%. We suggest successive tastings in order to measure its evolution until its qualitative peak.

The Deutz House was born in Aÿ, where it still is, in 1838.
It was founded by William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann, born under the First Empire, and both from Aix-la-Chapelle.
The Champagne lay for many years in cellars that are 3 kilometres long and between 20 and 60 metres deep, under the roots of vines that were planted on one of Aÿ’s slopes.
The Houses owns an important vineyard of around 40 hectares, mainly located in Grand Cru and Premier Cru.
