An ultra limited edition of 2000 bottles in tribute to Louis XV.

- +

This prestige cuvée from the De Venoge house pays homage to Louis XV who, by authorizing the marketing and transport of bottled Champagne wines in 1728, allowed the fermentation to take place and gave birth to Champagne.

A myth was born. For each great vintage. The house thus publishes a Louis XV cuvée housed in a precious carafe in homage to the great king.

It is a blend of Champagne in perfect balance between the Chardonnay grape (50%) and the Pinot Noir grape (50%) and exclusively from the 1995 harvest.

The color is very deep golden yellow.

The nose evokes floral notes such as lime blossom and spring hawthorn as well as citrus notes such as lemon from Menton, pink grapefruit from Florida or even Corsican clementine.

The palate is a perfect balance brought by the Chardonnay, balanced harmoniously with the Pinots Noirs, notes of red fruits such as Plougastel strawberry or Mara des Bois, all marked by a very long and very fresh finish.

To be served around 10/12 ° C, but not less, so as not to tarnish the richness of the exceptional aromas and flavors.

Food / wine pairing: a brilliant opportunity to introduce this exceptional Champagne with friends / family on carpaccios of smoked fish such as salmon or Auvergne trout or also on a red tuna sashimi.

Also suitable with red fruit desserts such as quetsch tart from Alsace, yellow fruit such as mirabelle plum or Cretan apricots.

The bottles should be stored lying down in the cellar, away from light and noise with a humidity of around 70% and with successive tastings in order to measure the peak of this exceptional champagne.

The generations will follow one after the other and the House is still installed in Epernay in the famous Avenue de Champagne.
