De Venoge

Henri-Marc De Venoge emigrated from his native Canton of Vaud in Switzerland to Champagne and created De Venoge et Cie in 1837 with his son Joseph.

The company was initially based in Mareuil sur Aÿ and only later moved to Epernay.

Generation after generation followed, and the company is still based in Epernay in the famous Avenue de Champagne.

The House produces around 2 million bottles a year with different blends from all the villages of Champagne.

Description De Venoge Grand Vin Des Princes Blanc de Blancs 2014.

It is a blanc de blancs composed of Premiers Crus from Trépail and Vertus as well as Grands Crus from Mesnil sur Oger.

The color is clear and bright.

On the nose and on the palate, aromas of brioche and stewed fruit, the finish is very elegant and retains a wonderful structure.

To be enjoyed preferably as an aperitif around 10-12 ° C, on canapés of duck foie gras or with fine fish such as poached or grilled sea bass.
