Description Pommery Cuvée Louise - Edition Parcelles 2005.

The 2005 harvest took place with cool, dry and sunny weather, ideal climatological qualities for a successful vintage.

The most beautiful bunches were selected during the harvest and brought back to the press for immediate pressing, thus obtaining the quintessence of the first pressing.

It is a blended Champagne from the vineyards of Ay, Avize and Cramant, all classified Grands Crus Classés at the top of the quality hierarchy of Champagnes.

The color is brilliant gold and exceptionally clear.

On the nose and on the palate: floral aromas of lime blossom and hawthorn followed by notes of yellow fruits such as vine peach, pear and plums.

Spicy notes of vanilla and toasted hazelnuts add complexity to this delicate nose. Fresh attack on the palate with a beautiful minerality in perfect harmony with the nose.

Food and wine pairing: serve between 8-10 ° C throughout a meal with asparagus in mousseline sauce or roasted lobster with black truffle or a steak of steamed turbot accompanied by oyster mushrooms. Excellent with fish in sauce or grilled a la plancha.

Bottles lying down to store in the cellar away from light and noise with a humidity of around 70%. We suggest successive tastings in order to measure its evolution until its qualitative peak.
