De Venoge

Henri-Marc De Venoge emigrated from his native Canton of Vaud in Switzerland to Champagne and created De Venoge et Cie in 1837 with his son Joseph.

The company was initially based in Mareuil sur Aÿ and only later moved to Epernay.

Generation after generation followed, and the company is still based in Epernay in the famous Avenue de Champagne.

The House produces around 2 million bottles a year with different blends from all the villages of Champagne.

Description De Venoge Louis XV Brut Rosé Millésime 2012.

The Master of the cellars chose the great years exclusively to create this symphony in homage to the King of France Louis XV who granted in 1728 many privileges to the wines of Champagne.

This rosé Champagne is classified Grand Cru, at the top of the qualitative hierarchy of these masterpieces of nature made from Pinot Noir grapes and Chardonnay grapes equally and by assembly of red wine from Bouzy from previous years.

The dress is partridge eye

On the nose and on the palate: a concerto played with art on a first dominant attack of small red fruits such as blueberry or burlat cherry, followed by notes of white flowers, citrus fruits, almonds, and toasted brioche with notes peppery. Remarkable salinity on a very long finish.

Food / wine pairing: a Champagne par excellence during a whole meal on hot oysters, hot mussels with basil butter sauce, a rib or spider of beef grilled à la plancha, on soft cheeses and lemon tart flavored with limoncello.

Store in the cellar, bottle lying down, away from light and noise, with an average humidity of 70% and with tastings over time to measure its qualitative development until its peak
