De Venoge

Henri-Marc De Venoge emigrated from his native Canton of Vaud in Switzerland to Champagne and created De Venoge et Cie in 1837 with his son Joseph.

The company was initially based in Mareuil sur Aÿ and only later moved to Epernay.

Generation after generation followed, and the company is still based in Epernay in the famous Avenue de Champagne.

The House produces around 2 million bottles a year with different blends from all the villages of Champagne.

Description De Venoge Louis XV Brut Millésime 2012.

It is presented in a decanter, a double "wink" in the same shape as the crystal decanters used in the 1900s to decant wines and the Louis XV denomination at the time in a tribute to this King of France who introduced champagne to the Court and above all who authorized by royal decree in 1728 for champagne wines to be marketed and transported in bottles, thus promoting its manufacture and above all a key stage: the fermentation.

The color is very deep yellow gold.

The nose offers a very wide range of fragrances of white flowers harmoniously linked with citrus fruits, sensations obtained with Chardonnay, and aromas of red fruits such as sour cherry, burlat or raspberry, revealed by Pinot Noir, ending on a hint. fine and elegant minerality

The mouth is like the nose, thus causing an extraordinary harmony between our two preponderant senses.

It is an aperitif or starter champagne par excellence.

To be served between 10 and 12 ° C so as not to break by the too intense cold the olfactory and gustatory immensity of this exceptional product.

The bottles can be stored in the cellar, protected from light and noise and lying down. The duration can be relatively long, subject to checking from time to time the evolution over time.
