The Chétillons cuvée is the house's prestige cuvée. It is a typical champagne from the Mesnil-sur-Oger region, a fresh, lively champagne with citrus notes.
It is a great aperitif champagne, which will easily find a place at the table. The Chétillons plot is certainly the most famous in the Grand Cru village of Mesnil-sur-Oger.
This is a patch on which the chalk is flush. You barely find 20 cm of soil before you reach pure white chalk. This absolutely unique terroir pushes the vine to its limits and requires it to plunge its roots in depth.
“The Chétillons plot is emblematic of Mesnil-sur-Oger. It is a very easy plot to work, there is never any disease.
The Chardonnays obtained here give very great wines for laying down. The use of indigenous yeasts exacerbates the vintage effect "explains Pierre Amillet.
