Leclerc Briant

Created in Cumières in 1872 by Lucien Leclerc, Domaine moved to Epernay in 1955 to its current premises on Chemin de la Chaude Ruelle. At the same time, under the leadership of Bertrand Leclerc, great-grandson of the founder, and his wife Jacqueline Briant, Domaine became Maison de Négoce, and took the name Leclerc Briant. In 1980, Pascal Leclerc succeeded his parents and continued their work.

In 2012, the purchase of Leclerc Briant by Mark Nunnelly and Denise Dupré rescued the Maison from oblivion. This American couple, passionate about French art de vivre, fell in love with this non-conformist Maison. They joined forces with Frédéric Zeimett, a native of Champagne, who has since steered the House ever upwards of the Champagne codes, in the service of expressing a unique style now internationally recognized.

Description Leclerc Briant Clos Des Trois Clochers 2015.

To the eye: Champagne has a bright and fairly fluid color, lemon yellow in color with deep yellow green reflections.

On the nose: It invites gourmet pleasure against a background of baking scents, embodied by notes of toast and brioche. Airing allows you to appreciate notes of verbena and pear.

In the mouth: The Champagne is refined, harmonious, and creamy, revealing a meticulous work under wood. The finish asserts itself in a finely lemony, spicy and saline universe.

At the tasting: It will enhance your seafood dishes such as oysters, salmon or a langoustine tartare with passion fruit. It also goes well with a semi-fresh goat cheese.
