Two grand cru terroirs of the Côte des Blancs.
Elaborated by Robert Moncuit - View other products
Les Grands Blancs is a champagne full of freshness, with that touch of delicacies and complexity that distinguishes great cuvées. It is a perfect champagne for an aperitif. Les Grands Blancs Robert Moncuit reflects the terroir of the house, which extends over 8 hectares over the villages of Mesnil-sur-Oger and Oger. Two Grand Crus terroirs of the Côte des Blancs, renowned for their Chardonnay, giving tight wines of exceptional finesse.
The wines are aged in oak, in 228 liter barrels. Malolactic fermentation is carried out. At the beginning of May, the wines are bottled and then spend 3 years in the cellar where they carry out the second fermentation and develop their aromas. The Les Grands Blancs cuvée is dosed very low (between 2 and 3 g / l), which allows the wine and the terroir to express themselves at best. This Blanc de Blancs champagne will go perfectly with an aperitif, or at the start of a meal with a cold starter.
