51% Chardonnay and 49% Pinot Noir, all from Grands and Premiers Crus from the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims.

The palate is expressed by a light tension which gives the wine an airy character. This gives way to a velvet texture which in turn brings a tender touch. Notes of white fruits such as pear and spices such as anise, coriander and star anise intermingle. Subtle nuances of wet stone and white truffle complete the ensemble.

Like all vintage champagnes from Ruinart, a few additional years in the cellar will allow it to gain in complexity and intensity, and thus to satisfy lovers of champagne with good maturity.
