Elaborated by Delamotte - View other products
A Grand Cru Champagne from the House of Delamotte founded in 1760.
This blanc de blancs is a mineral champagne whose chalky sensation is maintained thanks to a blend and a selection of reserve wine (10%). This note is the very essence of the vineyard and its chardonnays that grow on pure chalk soil.
A high quality blend of white Chardonnay exclusively from the vineyards of Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize, Cramant.
To the eye : fine gold color.
To the nose: a lot of floral scents of citrus fruits with a touch of ginger.
In the mouth: reveals biscuity and fresh bread crust finishes.
To be served around 12°C. with Papin, Grolleau or Gilardeau oysters or simply with grilled fish such as sea bass or codfish.
"A vibrant blanc de blancs Champagne, offering a fine, lacy mousse and a mouthwatering palate of star fruit, grated ginger, toast and lemon custard, with a touch of smoky mineral on the finish. " By Wine Spectator. 91 points.

This Champagne House was created in 1760 in Reims thanks to François Delamotte, the founder, and it was his son Alexandre who bought some time later a house and cellars in Mesnil-sur-Oger, where Delamotte is still settled.
The brand and buildings were then bought in 1927 by Marie-Louise de Nonancourt, and his son Charles managed it from 1948 to 1988.
Then the House was bought in 1988 by Laurent-Perrier and was managed by Bernard de Nonancourt until 2010, date when Alexandra and Stephanie de Nonancourt carried on the family tradition to write this House’s future.
