Prestige cuvée in magnum in a historic 2008 vintage

- +

Blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from 7 Grands Crus of Champagne: Aÿ, Bouzy, Verzenay, Mailly, Chouilly (Mont-Aigu), Cramant, (Les Buissons), Avize, Mesnil sur Oger (Les Joyettes), and a Premier Cru: Hautvillers, this famous village where Dom Pérignon lived, a monk from the Abbey of the same name and remarkable oenologist for his work at the time.

The 2008 vintage: an exceptional year

To the sharp acidity, conciseness and aromatic purity long awaited from the 2008 vintage, Dom Pérignon adds thickness, depth and complexity. The light is less harsh, warmer.

The nose
The radiance of the bouquet is complex and luminous, mixing white flowers, citrus fruits and stone fruits. Everything is stimulated by the freshness of anise and crumpled mint. When you breathe, you finally see spicy, woody and roasted touches.

The mouth
Long introverted, the wine is finally revealed. The consistency between nose and mouth is total. The spindle profile, slender, refined, toned, athletic, stands out with warmth. The fruit is loud and clear. The acidity that marks the vintage is remarkably integrated here. The persistence is essentially aromatic, gray, smoky, pregnant.

Food and wine pairing
Perfect accompaniment to cooked and raw dishes, such as meat or seafood. The effervescence of this 2008 vintage is reinforced and intensified by its notes of spices, which densify the wine.
