A Champagne Premier Cru Blanc de Noirs from the Village of Bisseuil.

- +

Another great Champagne signed by the Malassagne of Champagnes AR Lenoble.

A champagne from the village of Bisseuil, a prestigious cru classified as Premier Cru.

In nose, always the great classics: citrus fruits with a more pronounced lemon of Menton and many tender spices.

In the mouth it is a powerful wine that lets its fruity notes (Pinot Noir de Bisseuil) of cherry, strawberry, coffee bean, dark chocolate and vanilla of oak pass through after a prolonged aging for half in oak.

To be cellared for about eight years to let the very low acidity disappear and let the soft minerality of the chalk appear.

To be served around 11-12°C. in a wine glass to let it blossom like a great Bordeaux or Burgundy wine

Food and wine pairing : white meats, poultry, monkfish with saffron, mushroom risotto, sweetbreads Grenoble style. A little marvel on a "Gouda" cheese after aging.

The AR Lenoble House is one of the few Champagne Houses that is still today family-owned and entirely independent.

It was in 1915 that Armand-Raphael Graser, then wine trader in Alsace, left his home region for the Champagne region in the town of Damery, in an 18th century building with the region’s typical architecture which is today the company’s head office. He started to produce Champagne under the brand ‘AR Lenoble’, AR standing for his initials, and Lenoble in honour of Champagne’s nobleness.

In 1947, his son Joseph succeeds him, then in 1973, with Joseph’s retirement, the House is passed down to Jean-Marie Malassagne, grandson of Armand-Raphael, who then leaves place to his daughter Anne and his son Antoine.

Therefore, it is today the fourth generation who’s at the head of this great House.
