It is a blend of the year for 70% and for 30% perpetual reserve wines.

It is a Grand Cru Champagne exclusively, planted in Chouilly with Chardonnay grape 100%

Sight: shiny bronze with some light green reflections

On the nose: white flowers with touches of citrus, slightly lemony and minty

The palate is very mineral and very full on citrus flavors such as lemon from Menton, clementine from Corsica with a hint of bergamot from southern Italy.

Serve at around 10 to 11 ° C with caviar blinis, foie gras canapés, rolled up smoked trout and Bayonne ham or Spanish pata negra.

The AR Lenoble House is one of the few Champagne Houses that is still today family-owned and entirely independent.

It was in 1915 that Armand-Raphael Graser, then wine trader in Alsace, left his home region for the Champagne region in the town of Damery, in an 18th century building with the region’s typical architecture which is today the company’s head office. He started to produce Champagne under the brand ‘AR Lenoble’, AR standing for his initials, and Lenoble in honour of Champagne’s nobleness.

In 1947, his son Joseph succeeds him, then in 1973, with Joseph’s retirement, the House is passed down to Jean-Marie Malassagne, grandson of Armand-Raphael, who then leaves place to his daughter Anne and his son Antoine.

Therefore, it is today the fourth generation who’s at the head of this great House.
