A blend of 17 exceptional Crus followed by an extended maturation of 8 years

- +

Made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir exclusively in a variable proportion depending on the years chosen, this great champagne comes from Grands and Premiers Crus.

The dress is pink with hints of copper.

The first attack nose is very marked lytchee and aromatic herbs. Then come notes of Napoleon cherry and wild strawberries with a finish on a light smoked tea.

In the mouth: the texture is silky while the red fruits come second then, the vanilla, the passion fruits with a final on a subtle paprika.

A great moment with grilled sea bass fillets or a Turbot with Norman sauce. Brilliant with giant Barents Sea crab.

A good aging potential in the cellar away from light and noise, bottles lying down.

It was Florens-Louis Heidsieck, originally from Westphalia, who founded the linen and Champagne wine trading house Heidsieck et Cie in 1785 in Reims. He even had the privilege of presenting his wine to the Queen of France Marie-Antoinette.

When Florens-Louis Heidsieck died in 1828, it was his nephew Christian Heidsieck who continued the activity by partnering with Henri-Guillaume Piper. The house takes off but in 1835 Christian Heidsieck died and it was then that his wife remarried to Henri-Guillaume Piper who gave his name to the house by now calling it Piper-Heidsieck.
