Cuvée de Grands Crus elaborated from 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay.

- +

It is presented in a decanter, a double "wink" to the same shape as the crystal decanters used in the 1900s to decant wines and the name Louis XV, a tribute to this King of France who introduced champagne to the Court and especially who authorized by royal decree in 1728 to the champagne wines to be marketed and transported in bottles, thus promoting its manufacture and especially a key stage: the foam setting

The robe is partridge-eye, very strong.

The nose offers a very wide range of fragrances of white flowers harmoniously linked with citrus, sensations obtained with Chardonnay, and dominant scents of red fruits such as Morello cherry, burlat or raspberry, revealed by Pinot Noir, ending on a fine and elegant point of minerality

The mouth is the image of the nose, thus provoking an extraordinary harmony between our two preponderant senses.

It is a champagne of aperitif or starter par excellence on canapés or even better on light starters like a feuillantine of langoustine tails or a fish like turbot or Saint-Pierre with a sauce of the same champagne. A moment to which one should ask to suspend time...

To be served between 10 and 12° C in order not to break the olfactory and gustatory immensity of this exceptional product by the too intense cold.

The bottles can be kept in a cellar, away from light and noise and laid down. The duration can be relatively long, provided that the evolution of the wine is checked from time to time.

Henri-Marc de Venoge emigrated from his native Canton of Vaud in Switzerland to Champagne and created de Venoge et Cie in 1837 with his son Joseph.

The house will be installed initially in Mareuil sur Aÿ and it is only later that it will be installed in Epernay.

The generations will follow one after the other and the House is still installed in Epernay in the famous Avenue de Champagne.

The House produces around 2 million bottles per year with different blends from all the villages of Champagne.
