A blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay from the Montagne de Reims.

A remarkable blend of Pinot Noir for 80% and 20% Chardonnay, wines all exclusively from Grand Cru terroirs and Premier Cru terroirs.

The wine is then made with 50% wines of the year and 50% perpetual reserve wines. The wines are aged for a minimum of 2 years on lees in French oak barrels.

The dress is shiny gold

On the palate and on the nose: a very nice dominant hint of red berries such as raspberries or wild strawberries, harmoniously mixed with hints of citrus fruits such as lemon from Menton, clementine from Corsica or lychee.

Very nice touch of red fruit and bergamot flavors with a finish on woody vanilla.

To be enjoyed around 12 ° C as an aperitif with duck or goose foie gras, salmon makis or caviar blinis. Will also go very well with sea fish grilled à la plancha or even better with oysters from Marennes or Belon.

Perfect with sea fish in champagne sauce or white meats with oyster mushrooms or chanterelles.

Henri Giraud Champagne, a house managed by Claude Giraud from an old family settled in Aÿ for many generations, on a vineyard mainly located on the mountain of Aÿ.

Aÿ, a prestigious name forever linked to the region’s history, whose wines have been ranked among the world’s best wines for at least 10 centuries. Kings of France always wished to own a vineyard in Aÿ. Henri IV, King of France, even was called “Sir of Aÿ”. Until 1887, wine from the Champagne region were called “wines of Aÿ”, and after this date, they acquired the designation “Champagne”.

Today, 323 Champagne wines can produce Champagne, but only 17 are legally classified “Grands Crus”. Aÿ, classified Grand Cru, is the geographic, qualitative, and historic heart of the Champagne region.

The vine on this mythic land are rooted in a deep calcareous soil, to draw from it extraordinary expressions that are mineral and floral.

The Henri Giraud produces several Champagne qualities, but Premiers Grands Cru only selected a few, truthful to its Charter.
