In 1859, the Maison Duval-Leroy est crée par l'association d'Armand Leroy et de Jules Duval.
Today, the estate cultivates 200 hectares planted mainly with grape varieties Chardonnay from parcels classified Grand Cru or Premier Cru at the very top of the Crus scale created in 1911.
This House based in Vertus in Champagne is currently run by the 6th generation.
Nowadays, the House produces many qualities, each more remarkable than the next.
A champagne blend ofChardonnay( 85%) and Pinot Noir (15%) harvested from parcels classified as Grand Cru or Premier Cru exclusively and from different vintages.
These plots are all located in the Grand Vallée de la Marne, the Montagne deReimsand the Côte des Blancs.
25% of the wines are aged on lees in oak barrels.
