The Larmandier and Bernier families have been involved in the Champagne vineyards since the French revolution. The Larmandiers even participated in the rise of the Côte des Blancs with the fame of their Cuvée Cramant Blanc de Blancs Nature.

From the 20th century, Jules Larmandier produced Champagne with remarkable taste qualities, and it was very quickly that many great Parisian tables took an interest in it. Larmandier Champagnes are therefore already served at the Tour d'Argent, Taillevant, Charlot king of shells ...

Champagne Larmandier-Bernier was created in 1971 by Philippe Larmandier (grandson of Jules Larmandier) and his wife Elisabeth Bernier (owner of vineyards in Vertus). Since 1982, Elisabeth has been at the head of the family house and Pierre, their son, decides to take up this profession which is so close to her heart in 1988.

Since that day, Pierre Larmandier has continued to improve the quality of his vineyard and these Champagnes by researching more responsible viticulture methods (since 1999, the estate has been cultivated using Biodynamics).

The estate is now made up of approximately 15 hectares spread over the most beautiful terroirs of the Côte des Blancs: Vertus classified Premier Cru and Cramant, Chouilly, Oger, Avize, classified Grands Crus.
