The Domaine Anne Gros is located in Vosne-Romanée and its vineyard covers about 6.5 hectares in the most prestigious crus. Premiers Grands Crus, true to its charter, has retained only a few parcels of its vineyard, because classified Grand Cru at the top of the qualitative hierarchy of Bourgognes:
- the parcel Le Grand Maupertui de Clos Vougeot Grand Cru
- the Les Loachausses parcel of Echezeaux Grand Cru
- the Richebourg parcel Grand Cru
All three of the micro-climates, A-ranked diamonds, within the climate, itself belonging to Grand Cru.
The vines, whose average age is 60 years, rest on clay-limestone soil for a total production of about 30,000 bottles depending on the vintage. All the grapes are harvested by hand and by sorting.
All an Art that stands out when tasting its wines on small red fruits.
Their dresses are dark ruby and become a superb carmine with age after aging in the cellar, bottle lying down, protected from the light and noise.
