Availability: In stock

It is a wine renowned for its delicacy and aromatic finesse.

- +

The name "Aux Chaignots" indicates the presence of an old oak grove, in old French "chasne".

The color is a beautiful dark ruby.

The nose offers aromas of red fruits associated with empyreumatic notes (woody and smoky).

On the palate it is fat and supple; it is a wine of very beautiful substance, balanced between finesse and power. The structure of the melted tannins gives a very pleasant harmony to this wine.

Pairings: foie gras puff pastry with apples, leg of lamb, duck breasts, doe steak with cranberries.

Serving temperature of 14 ° C to 16 ° C.

Aging potential from 7 to 12 years.

Size : 750ml
Alcohol Degree : 13°
Vintage : 2016
Color : Red
Classification : Premier Cru

It was in 1825 that the first Faiveley founded the Faiveley house at Nuit St Georges, still so called and still managed by a Faiveley. Today, the 7th generation is at the head of this prestigious House. Over time, this House has acquired many estates including the emblematic Monopole Clos des Cortons Faiveley "located in Rognet-Corton, acquired in 1874.

This family has forged over time deep relationships of trust with many Burgundy winegrowers who have become privileged suppliers.

It is thanks to its roots and its exceptional links that the House can thus offer a wide range of Burgundy wines.
