It is a wine which comes exclusively from a parcel called "La Mission" held in monopoly. The vines were planted in 1961 for the oldest and in 1997 for the youngest. The whole on a small and rare surface called "climat" of 1.93 hectare.

The plot is exposed East on a rocky and limestone terrace. This is a 2018 vintage exclusively.

The color is golden with a remarkable shine.

On the nose and on the palate: white spring and summer flowers with lingering peelers such as lychee, pineapple or bergamot from southern Italy. The palate is very balanced with many flavors, with a hint of minerality. The finish is very long on a rounded palate.

It is a wine for laying down to be savored now but which can be kept in the cellar, bottles lying down protected from light and vibrations, with an optimum humidity of 70%.

It is a wine to be served around 12 to 14 ° C but not less in order to retain its full flavor and smell.

Food / wine pairing: a risotto with Bordeaux porcini mushrooms or seafood. Perfect with shellfish such as oysters from Marennes-Oléron, crabs, lobsters or lobster. Exhilarating on Burgundy snails flavored with Echiré des Deux-Sèvres / Aunis butter, garlic and parsley.

It is a Château located on the heights of Mercurey, the existence of which can be found in the 18th century in the family archives.


Today, it is the 5th generation that takes care of the vineyard of this remarkable château, the total area of ​​which amounts to 37 hectares, of which 27 hectares are planted with red Pinot Noir grapes and 10 hectares with white Chardonnay grapes.

Only 15 hectares are classified as Premier Cru and Premiers Grands Crus, faithful to its chart, has only retained wines from terroirs classified Premier Cru exclusively.

The entire vineyard is cultivated in sustainable cultivation on a rocky and limestone terrace for the whites and a predominantly ferric oxide soil for the reds. The average age of the Domaine's vines is 35 years. All the harvests are manual with double sorting of the berries in the vineyard and in the press.

The wines are aged in French oak barrels of 400 liters and 228 liters, partly in new barrels and on average for 14 months, depending on the specificities of the harvest and the climate.
