Echezeaux is one of the most famous Grands Crus of the Côte de Nuits.

The name Echezeaux comes from the old French "Es Chazeaux": the houses, which means that this site was inhabited in the Gallo-Roman period.
The robe is ruby red with purple reflections.
The nose is expressive, rich, flattering with nice fruity notes (raspberry, wild strawberry) on spicy notes (pepper, clove) with a hint of mint.
In the mouth, the tannins are melted and silky in balance with a nice freshness in the finish.
To be enjoyed at an ideal temperature of 13-14°C with semi-cooked duck foie gras, game cooked in sauce, as well as fresh and strong cheeses like Brillat-Savarin.
