The whole is next to Château Latour and adjoins the vines of Pichon Baron.
This Château is a fifth Grand Cru classified according to the prestigious 1855 list.
The vineyard, which covers around thirty hectares, is located on gravelly soil on clay-limestone bedrock. The average age of the vines is 35 years. Production is in the order of 160 to 170 barrels, or around 200,000 bottles per year.
Grape variety: Cabernet Sauvignon: 75% and Merlot noir 25%.
The entire harvest is manual and the wine is aged in barrels for the entire harvest, 40% of which is in new barrels for 12 to 18 months before bottling.
