Château Mouton Rothschild

The Château Mouton Rothschild is known to all wine lovers, not only for its exceptional wines but also for its labels signed by artists since the 1945 vintage.

The story of Mouton Rothschild began in 1853, when Baron Nathaniel de Rothschild bought Château Brane-Mouton from Pauillac, renaming it Mouton-Rothschild. Description Château Mouton Rothschild 1997.

The color of this great wine presents a dark red tinged with ruby highlights. On the nose, it combines finesse and elegance, expressing intense notes of very ripe black fruit, cocoa and pepper. A touch of truffle also adds complexity. The attack on the palate is supple, quickly giving way to a fleshy body underlined by silky tannins that are still very present. Fruity aromas mingle with woody and musky notes, a sign of ageing. Incredibly long, this nectar is best enjoyed now, but still has splendid ageing potential.
