It is a domain located in Léognan, the capital of Graves, whose origin goes back several centuries and mentioned in a document of 1763, under the name "chibaley" (Knight in old French of the region of Gascony adjoining Aquitaine from Bordeaux).

The main production is red, born from a vineyard that covers about 35 ha with an average age of 35 years on a soil of black sand and fine white gravel and on clay-gravelly subsoil, remarkably well drained. The grape varieties for the red: Cabernet Sauvignon 65%, Merlot noir 30% Cabernet Franc 2.5%, Petit Verdot 2.5%.

The average annual yield is around 167 barrels, or around 200,000 bottles.

All the harvest is manual with triple sorting in the vineyard and in the cellar. The wine is aged in new barrels for 30% and aged for 18 months before bottling.
