Description Château Feytit-Clinet 2015.

The 2015 vintage offered Bordeaux optimal conditions for the birth of great wines. The warm and dry spring allowed a quick flowering of the vines, and the summer that followed took advantage of the same conditions. Some rainfall in early August was welcome to start the ripening of the berries, and it was really the beautiful month of September that brought the complexity of this great vintage, allowing the different grape varieties to obtain excellent quality.

Blend of the 2015 vintage: 94% Merlot, 6% Cabernet franc.

The robe is a deep purple color, dark and tinged with garnet highlights.

The nose offers a lot of freshness and richness, with notes of forest fruits, violet and blackcurrant, supported by truffle and caramel.

The attack is velvety, the recognizable mark of a great Pomerol wine. It evolves on finesse and a juicy matter, supported by chiseled tannins. On the fruit, it blooms on a long refined finish.

Food and wine pairing:

Château Feytit-Clinet 2015 will be enjoyed with beef tenderloin with morel sauce, boar leg confit, veal mignon with cardamom, roast pigeon with gratin dauphinois or veal under the mother snack.

For a pairing with cheese, choose uncooked pressed cheeses: Edam, Gouda, Saint-nectaire, morbier, Tomme de Savoie or Salers.

For dessert, enjoy it with a hazelnut entremet, a black forest or Cyril Lignac's tiramisu.

Ageing potential and tasting:

Château Feytit-Clinet 2015 has excellent aging potential, and will reach its peak between 2025 and 2030.

However, it can be enjoyed now. To do so, take care to place the bottle the night before in the serving room at room temperature. Open it and decant it ideally 5 to 6 hours before tasting.

The bottles will be kept in the cellar, protected from light, lying down, at an optimal hygrometric degree of 70%.
