The castle passed into the hands of different owners until 1955, when it was bought by the famous aircraft manufacturer Marcel Dassault who gave it its name and of which the grandson Laurent is today the manager.

The vineyard covers approximately 25 hectares, the grape variety of which is distributed as follows: 65% Merlot Noir, 30% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon for an average total production over the years of 100,000 bottles, i.e. an average yield per year hectare of 3000 liters.

All the harvest is manual and the wine is aged in new barrels for 90 to 100% from 14 to 18 months depending on the vintage.
