Elaborated by Cos d'Estournel - View other products
Between Pauillac and Saint-Estèphe, separated from Château Lafitte by the 'jalle' (stream) of Breuil, the hill of Cos dominates the Gironde by nearly twenty meters.
The architecture of Cos d'Estournel with its bell towers recall the time when the owner, Mr. Estournel would delivered his wines to Indiaand Arabia, from where he brought back wild horses he raised on the beautiful meadows still attached to the vineyard.
Very dark in color, this Saint-Estèphe develops a pleasant bouquet of ripe and jammy fruit. This wine is excellently well structured with a severe but very pleasant length which gives it a superb whole. It can be stored and enjoyed until 2040.
