4.8/5   (5 Guides)

Availability: In stock

5th Grand Cru Classé in 1855.

- +

The color is intense purple with some golden reflections of autumn.

On the nose as well as on the palate: notes of wild blackberry jelly, blackcurrant, black cherry from the Basque country with a slight hint of smoke, followed by touches of Lebanese cedar cigar box, spices and dried roses.

The mouth is round and ample with a palate offering finely chiseled tannins with a beautiful freshness.

It is a wine for ageing whose peak is recent and will be able to continue for many more years until the 2040s.

Store bottles lying down, away from light and noise with an optimal hygrometric degree of 70%.

Decant one or two hours before tasting at room temperature.
