VS

The age of a Cognac Grande Champagne Premier Cru is determined solely based on the amount of time spent in oak barrels. When cognac is bottled, it stops aging.

A Cognac Grande Champagne Premier Cru can be sold under the designation VS or *** when it spent 2 years minimum aging in oak barrels. But generally, every House uses cognacs that are older than required to make their blends.

Some spirits in the blend have aged for several decades to bring scents, aromas and flavours more and more complex and rich.

The VS or *** Cognacs are perfectly appropriate for a long drink tasting or on the rocks, when they disclose not only all their complexities and thus richness, but also their very refreshing side.
