Château La Fleur-Pétrus

It was the first acquisition in 1950 by Jean-Pierre Moueix, a young Libourne-based wine merchant of Corrézienne origin and owner of Pétrus. Since then, the estate's vintages have steadily risen in quality as well as in reputation among connoisseurs the world over.

The Château La Fleur Pétrus is based on an 18-hectare vineyard planted on deep gravel and clay soils on the Pomerol plateau. The grape varieties are 91% Merlot, 6% Cabernet franc and 3% Petit Verdot. The wines are aged for 16 to 18 months in French oak barrels, 50% of which are new.

The Château La Fleur Pétrus offers wines with a unique personality, imbued with generosity and elegance like no other. They are complex, beautifully structured and deliciously aromatic.
